It does exist. Not sure how you can say it doesn't. To say such a thing only says that it harms societies, and implies no such thing.

"Since income isn't equal, not supposed to be equal, and cannot possibly be equal how can someone argue for equality?"

No one is arguing for income equality. Did you watch the Ted talk?
