i've owned garmin for many years and nothing else is new. this is one of those very odd stocks that go up for no reason and go down for no reason. since i've seen this happen so many times over and over again, my only conclusion is that this is one of those stocks that is easily played by a few traders with lots of money. i could be wrong but it certainly seems so to me.

garmin can be grossly overvalued at one point and then grossly undervalued at another. yes there is fear from that google announcement but personally i'm not quite sure where the fear is coming from, google may be a big company but whether or not their software solution will work in the real world remains to be seen (i'm talking about a reliable and safe gps that works anywhere and anytime with excellent performance which we have today with garmin no question about it).

all i can tell you is that it is typical garmin. i think because of the volatile nature of this stock, small players tend to get in and out of this one quickly which kinda makes it even easier for some big money to move the stock irrationally. just a guess on my part. :)
