1. From personal experience, if you decide to do anything like Gatorade, be sure to mix it with water (4 or 5 parts water to 1 part Gatorade) as Gatorade by itself is too concentrated for this application.

2. Because it is dry in the high desert, the overnight lows can feel much colder than the temperature alone would indicate, particularly after getting used to the heat of the day, so bring something to layer with clothing-wise.

3. Never underestimate the OPFOR.
