1) How can I figure out what their current value is and how that will change over time?

Depends on what you mean by "current value".

- the value you could sell them at? Ask your broker
- the value it would cost to replace them at? ask your broker
- the theoretical value based on current interest rates? There are computer programs out there that can do it; Excel can even do so.
