1. I have waitressed for years, and I now see a lot of my guests asking for ice water with lemon instead of paying 1.75 for soda or iced tea.
2. I work a whole lot more, and buy stocks now for they are cheap cheap cheap. I have been letting all the inches of rain keep my Wild Ram mud free, which saves me car wash money.
3. I just paid off Cap One for the second time in a month, and called them up to have words with them about my APR. They dropped it nearly 5 points!
4. Finishing college seems more attractive, though I hate to use the Cap One card.
5. According to the current reports, the corrections field is going strong, and that is the career I would like to get into.
6. I drive as much as usual, but complain much more. I am proud of having a tank of gas last nearly a week. Usually I will go visit the pumps a few times a week, but I have been tooling about in my school bus this week. That bus uses some fuel! Yikes!
7. My nearly 81 year old mother now knows about ING , but she is not nibbling, for there is no need for her to get a computer.
8. I keep my paychecks here in my bedroom, uncashed, so I will not blow through them.
9. I use coupons for my forays to WalMart, for there is no sense paying these high prices. Even with coupons, I can barely get out of a store without dropping 100 bucks or so. This week my MIL needed laundry soap, and I needed Tasters Choice, the finest instant coffee ever, so that WMT trip was a high rent one.. 108 bucks for 5 bags. That d@mned Tide is nearly 10 bucks a bottle pre coupon!
10. I tell my poor cohorts to work more. I have no Prince Charming nor Sugar Daddy to support me, so that is the way to go. They still have their hand out, however.
wild :) still needs to wash the Ram!
