1. I'd get a lawyer. It's got to violate a whole bunch of laws for them to try and collect a "debt" from someone stealing your charge card. You probably have a decent civil case where you could sue them for damages.
2. I'm not sure, someone else will have to tell you the answer to this one.
3. Try American Express, even if you have to take one of the cards with the annual fees. If you're using it to travel, airlines/hotels/etc.... pretty much all take Amex..


1. What can I do about the evil entity of Stutsman?
2. How long do I have to keep a good credit record (been paying it off every month) with Providian before I can get a real, big-girl credit card?
3. Any suggestions of any non-shady credit card companies that I could try?
