Technically this belongs on the iOS board, but since I believe there are more readers here, I am crossing posting.

Agile Bits has released version 4.x of iPW for iOS and if you are a user or think you might use in the future I say Buy Now! Currently this is $7.99 which is a serious price drop from the pre-release price for the iOS product.

You will not find version 4 by clicking "Check for Updates" in the iTunes store - Apple has designed the iTunes store so that the update pricing structure we learned to love for software does not work. Version 4.x of PW separate and independent of 1PW version 3.x - just like Angry Birds is separate and independent. You can install 4.x on your iOS device and use it or the previously installed version 3.x as you wish. (I have not verified this, but AgileBits says so and I believe them.)

Version 4.x for Mac and Windows will come soon.

Here is a link to all the info on iOS version 4.x

Personally I have used 1PW for well over a year and found the product to be uncommonly great. The product support through their Forums is amazing. Prior to using 1PW I used two other Password Managers neither of which was in the same class as 1PW - but things change. I compute in one of those "Mixed System" house - my wife is a Windows user. 1PW does cross platform syncing perfectly via DropBox.

Finally in the area of security, last weekend one of my wife's email accounts was hacked. Our email was shut off by the hosting company. They did not like the idea of her "sending" out 14,549 emails in less than 1 hour, particularly since any fool would look at the subject and suspect SPAM. I must say, we bear responsibility for the hack. But my reason for this detail is simply to say 1PW has made securing our roughly 425 logins now much more secure. (My wife did re-use passwords and I suspect there was a security issue at one of her logins which released her email password.)
