Shares of different categories of shipping companies had a pull back. But the markets for each sector are behaving a little different. The tanker markets (dirty and clean) both seem to be struggling, while the dry bulk market seems to be holding up quite well. But, I had no dry bulk idea in the basket. Well, no idea until this week. I restarted NM this week- primarily based on NM repaying the NNA loan early, and partially refinancing its debt. These are both positive moves. Containers? SSW would be a combination of income and growth.

The basket
ANW - red;
*NAT - very red;
*GNRT - red
INSW - red;
*SSW - red;
TNK - red; nibbled
*FRO - red;
CPLP - black
*STNG - red
*DHT - black; two nibbles
*NM - black; nibble

*nibble < stake less than 0.6%
slightly red = loss < 3%
very red = loss > 15%
very very red = loss > 40%

Shipping basket continues to grow, now about 6%. TNK had been doing well, then pulled back.
