How great to find this spot to present my dilemma: About 25 years ago, a broker advised me that Harvey Aluminum was a good buy for a beginner like me so I sent him some money (about $200.I almost recall) and I got 4 shares. Since then it has changed names a couple times, but is now Lockheed Martin. I began reinvesting, (these records I have saved) sometime in the mid eighties). I'll bet Lockheed might know the answer to this, but the date of my original purchase is a lost secret. How bad can it be if I just wing it when I finally sell these shares?
