Did you call your insurance company to see how they want you to proceed? - TeraGram

No? I just wrote out a check and sent it to the Doctor's office? I didn't know I was supposed to call and check on it? I went to the post office today and mailed the payment to the doctor.

I thought that the only thing I was responsible for was a $20.00 co-pay but I got the bill in the mail yesterday, and was irritated, but thought I was just supposed to pay it?

I'm a major conflict avoider and don't like to make trouble and usually try and take the path of least resistance. That's how I've been able to stay happily married for the last 35 years! Sigh!

.. i'd have probably done the same (also serious avoider of conflict), but it might be worth calling Dr or Ins for explanation.

Could be Insurance 'stunt', could be correct.

good luck
