It's easier to try to impeach motive than it is to confront the merits of an argument. But much of the discussion on this board relishes the former more than the latter. As I just pointed out elsewhere in this thread, I have lurked on the Fool for years. I decided recently that I would like to contribute and not just lurk--you know, none that of continued free-loading that is such anathema. :) You don't have to believe that, of course, if another perspective better suits your world view. But the fact won't be any less true as a result. Trey happened to pose his question just after I submitted my application to post. Coincidences do happen from time to time.
