2gifts: "I have joined the local Planet Fitness gym, and would like to use it as the place to do some sort of winter workout to keep me in shape for the golf season in the spring, but I have no idea about the best way to leverage the equipment there to meet this goal."

My golf is on hiatus, but from my notes:

Not sure a Planet Fitness will let you deadlift, but you should be able to do everything else (plus deadlift if you are not too loud - "clank").

Cable Wood Chops are also good: https://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/standing-cable-wood-c... , bot sides and then also go low to high

and Farmer's Walks are also very good for grip strength; see https://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/farmers-walk and you can start with dumbbells or kettleballs, start with a 5 or 10 pound dumbbell/kettleball in each had and walk 30 yards (2 or 3 times). If that is too easy, increase the weight the next time.
