I came to find some words to help sort this out.My cat is scheduled for spaying Tuesday and I have bad feelings about it. She is 1 1/2 and an indoor cat essentially (I took her outside on a harness a few times last summer) and part of my reason for having the procedure done now is that the county will give you a rebate on the cost. I planned she would be fixed since I got her, and I have had cats before and a dog, so I understand intellectually why it 'should' be done. But the idea that this is unnecessary surgery and the risk of losing her due to a freak anesthesia complication is stuck in my brain. Fooelle
