I went to sports clips today to have my long flowing locks made less so. The stylist was young, friendly and efficient. When the haircut was done, we stride to front counter and the cash register. She turns to a coworker, so she almost had her back to me as they converse in hushed tones.

Finally the coworker adresses me and asks, "Are you 60 or wiser? I rely "yes" and receive a $3.00 discount. I am grateful that my age was at least a question rather than them applying the discount with no questions because my geezerhood was so obvious.

So with saving an even three bucks on the haircut, why $3.05 in the subject line? Because I found a shiny nickel in the parking lot on the way to my truck.
