i just read your article on the 401-k..very good. my question is my 401-k only made 6% last year. i switch jobs every two to three years and their is a waiting period of one year before i can begin to put money back in. i was thinking of rolling over the 401-k into an ira in which i could buy and sell stocks on my own. what do you think? i really need your advice on this so i would appreciate a response. iam 52 years old and have only fifty thousand in the 401-k.thanks john my e-mail is johnsten@ipns.com
