Hi again. Thanks to everyone writing about the pros and cons of the various index funds. Not all of the messages were replies to mine but I definitely learned alot from them nonetheless.

Anyway, my current situation is that I've just finished grad school where I was paid to be a TA. I found out over a year after starting that they had been investing a tiny bit of my money in a 401A plan (about 1% I think). Is this just like a 401K? Any ideas as to how I go about moving my money into my new 401K or my Roth IRA (and is one better to move it to than the other?)?

Thanks in advance. I feel like I'm fumbling around in this great new world and it's nice to have a place like this to turn to. :-)

Rebecca
