Thank you for the info. about all caps. I'm 46, so I have a few years before retirement.
Fidelity VIP Mid Cap Portfolio 10%
Fidelity VIP Contrafund Portfolio 20%
Templeton Foreign Securities Fund 10%
Franklin Income Securities Fund 10%
Equity Portfolio (Legg Mason) 15%
PIMCO Total Return Portfolio 10%
Jennison 20/20 Focus Portfolio 15%
Royce Micro-Cap Portfolio 10%
Yes, I could handle a 20% loss in one year. After reading mutual funds (Investing Basics) I was concerned about all the different mutual fund fees. I don't have a clue if the funds (above) have hidden charges.
How do I go about checking to see what types of fees I am charged. exp. loads, Administrative cost etc. Hope this don't sound foolish, but how do you tell if it is an index fund? Thank You
