In the yr 2000 I moved my investments with T.Rowe Price, 401K, to a money market. I play to liquidate the $115,000 (present value) and take a 10 yr average to take advantage of the tax break, so I wonder if I should just leave it in the MM or move all or some to a
Equity Index Trust (S&P 5050 Index) and leave some in the MM since three years does not seem like a long time.

Also I have about $53,000 in a Fidelity Annuity and I am wondering if I should move the whole thing into an Index 500. I have long since passed the surrender periods, but do not wish to cash it out as I am in the process of transferring my IRA's into a Roth IRA. Incidentally I am 67 years of age should that make any difference. Thank you all for your help.
