Unfortunately, my employer believes in the mushroom theory of management. We are told that 10% is the legal maximum for contributing to the 401K, however I talked to another company awhile ago and they said 13%. I understand it has something to do with the percentage of "highly compensated" employees, but I was wondering if anyone knew the rules, or where to find them. Thank you.
