Grossing roughly 46k per yr. I currently put 6% to my 401(k)[50% match for the first 6%]. Then I take any another 4% of my gross and fund my Roth IRA. I am 27...

Question being is what I should be doing? My thoughts are to keep the 401(k) at the minimum to get the free money. Then to fund as much of the IRA as possible (4-6%). If I ever was to totally fill up the IRA I would then put more money back into the 401(k).

All of this would be balanced of course while trying to save enough for an emergency fund.
