We have about 30,000.00 in a 401k. It is split 50/50 between S&P 500 and Magellan. For a long time we did great, but the last two quarters, we lost about 500.00 a month. If we get out of Magellan, the company won't let us back in. We still have at least 15 years to retirement. Should we put it in something more conservative for now so we can cut our losses, or wait for things to come back up? Or should we opt for self-managed and do something altogether different?
