Hi, I've decided to get my act together. Foolish? I've been reading this website and other investment books. I've come to the realization the "I know Nothing". I have an old 401k worth around 50k. I've seen it come down from over 80k! I was thinking of moving it to the vanguard index until I am a real fool. Is this possible and is this a smart move?
Thanks in advance for any opinions.
PS. Could you also email your responses as I'm new to this site and might not be able to find my way back right away... :)

Thanks,

Ken Murray
