My husband was layed-off a few months ago. He has @$12,000 in his 401K. I was going to roll it over into an IRA to avoid it being taxed. With his new job, a new 401K will be started. I was thinking, after much research, to go with Janus pure no-load mutual funds. I thought I'd put $4000.00 each into 2 individual moderate funds and the other $4000.00 in one that is a little more aggressive. My thoughts are for long term, 20-30 years. Who knows, maybe in 5-10 years, I can take a little out of the one that does best and invest in a mutual fund that's very risky like the Janus global tech fund. It did 214% it's first year and was closed to new investers last Tuesday! Am I on the right track? Denise
