I worked for a university for about a year and have some money still in my 403b and some TIAA/CREF Annuities. I want to roll them over to an IRA but I am not sure if both of these are considered a part of the 403b, can both be rolled over? Lately the mutual fund company has been breaking up what I thought was just a 403b account into 403b and 401a money. Now I'm completely confused. What can I do with this money? It's not much, about $1500 but it isn't making much where it is and I would love to "fool" around with it somewhere else. Thanks!
