I am a new Fool and this is my 1st official post. (tread lightly on me!) I work for a hospital and have 15% of my gross put into a 403b tax deferred. I started this acct. b-4 being enlightened to foolishness. Therefore I chose a percentage for 5 different account types (4 mutual fund 1 bond fund)Here's my question-should I still be splitting up my contributions or should I be pumping all $$$ into the Vanguard 500 index fund even though its per share is quite high in the 120.00's. There is another fund that was doing quite well and was up around 27% since 1/99. I've only been in this since 1/98 so I'm still learning. Any help would be appreciated.
