I was looking at the CD offerings on Fidelity the other day (I am a Fidelity customer). The default listing of CDs is low to high by maturity date. I was astounded to see a 3 month CD offered by Morgan Stanley at a rate of 5.45%. I immediately liquidated half my Fidelity money market account and placed an order. A few minutes later, I looked at the Fidelity site again and the CDs were gone.
