I'm wondering if anyone is still here. I picked up the 7 day free trial and have a cleric on the Xoriat Server named Carbon. Should I be looking for anyone?
I'm still here reading the board...... and my character is still somewhere there in D&D Online because I forgot to cancel...... so I need to pull my character (and my credit card) back!...... but this doesn't really reflect on the game, which I hope you're having fun with... just limited time... so many games, so little time...... however I shall certainly still hang out on this board.Foolishly,David G.
I can reload and get in there to pass along some equipment or help you do some quests over the next 7 days. I havent played in a bit but still have an active account.John
I cancelled for the summer and expect to pick up again this winter. Probably around November. I found DDO to be great at not needing a lot of prep time, not needing huge time commitments, and finally being quite good at getting a PUG together due to the mature nature of the majority of the player base.I'm following along on the forums too and it looks like a lot of good stuff has happened since I left in June. I'm truely looking forward to playing in November.Simon
I can reload and get in there to pass along some equipment or help you do some quests over the next 7 days.I wouldn't worry about passing any equipment along. There's a very good chance this character will not live beyond the 7 days.So far I have to say the game is fun to play. Documentation is poor. I've had few groups that actually want challenging content, most want to run through a dungeon on normal. Most the time I follow and do nothing. I would like a little more challenging content in that way.
I've had few groups that actually want challenging content, most want to run through a dungeon on normal. When the game first came out Normal WAS challanging. I'm sure by now with all the twinking (very few items have level restrictions and nothing is soulbound like WoW) most peoples' alts are forces to be reckoned with. The best way to play the game is with people new to it. Unfortunately that's pretty hard to find and I found it annoying to play "tag along". The other way is to only do the new dungeons so that everyone is new to the content. Still though, if you can find a slower paced group it can be fun. It's never fun being led by the nose. And yes, the documentation sucks. Especially with no way to respec.Simon
