the people they own? So, this is what you're doing instead of going out and buying more cat food. I'm getting sick of the dry stuff.

Hi, my name is Elvis, and I'll be turning 10 this summer. My pet human has already told you that I'm a Snowshoe Siamese. (Don't hand me that "not a true siamese" bit, I look better than the regular siamese). Some nasty human abandoned me when I was very young, and I had to find a new human to attend to me. She was nice, but then this one took care of me when she went on vacation, and he was so easy to train...er, I mean nice, that I decided to adopt him as my human (besides, he'd lost the last of his kitties from his youth, so he needed his training reinforced). He plays string with me and lets me exercise when I want. He also lets me sleep on clothes in the closet, where it's nice and comfortable. I was pretty lucky to find him; guess that "synchronicity" name is appropriate for him.

He also got me a friend, another ruler, er, cat. Her name is Echo. She's part siamese and is all black, and is a year younger than me. She's fun to play with (I knew her when she was a kitten), although she's kind of neurotic. She meows at the walls and doors for no apparent reason, and chases down insects. I keep her in line.

Synch has moved me from Oregon to Boston to New York to Chicago, and I wish he'd stop it. Oregon was the best, as we had a big apartment with lots of windows for the sun to come in. Happiness is lying on a nice warm carpet near a window where the sun comes in and heats you up. If only that darn sun would stop moving! We've thought about fixing that, but then we'd lose all these nice human pets, so we'll let it go. For now.

This summer I had some nasty liver problems and gallstones, which made me throw up. My STUPID servant should have taken me to the vet earlier. OK, it's partially my fault, as I like him so much that I purr whenver he's around, so he didn't realize how sick I was. The vet did a good job, and I'm feeling better, although I've lost weight. My servant used to say I was..er...overweight, when I was simply well insulated. Now I mainly eat Hill's W/D cat food, although my pet should be out buying food while I'm typing this.

My pet human is generally nice, but he has some flaws. For one thing, he has this "girlfriend" who lives with him, so I can't always sleep on their bed. She's finally getting trained OK, but it hasn't been easy. As for other humans...well, they can pay homage to my beauty, but I'd rather they not bother me. It's not bad, just annoying.

And I can hear that my human is back, and with my other food! Good human! I'd better get to the door so I can run downstairs into the lobby. This place is too small. Bye everyone! MRROWWWW!!!)
