Yeah, unfortunately there are 2 types of filibuster and the one most common is the need for 60 votes to invoke cloture, ending debate on a bill and allowing a vote to occur. Joe Lieberman has already promised to filibuster a bill with any kind of public option so Reid will need everyone else and to pick up a republican vote.

It is pathetic that this country has to scour the Senate hoping that there is even one moderate Republican. Republicans are the scourge of this country.
