Consolidated Cigar Holdings Inc.
With cigar sales growing at about 10% yearly, Consolidated Cigar
Holdings is smokin'. Consolidated Cigar Holdings' sole asset is
Consolidated Cigar, the US's largest cigar maker, with about 23% of the market. The company sells its cigars under such well-known brand names as H. Upmann, Montecristo, Don Diego, and Primo del Rey (premium grade); Antonio y Cleopatra, Dutch Masters, El Producto, and Muriel (mass market large cigars); and Dutch Treats and Supre Sweets (mass market little cigars). It also sells pipe tobacco under the Mixture No. 79 and China Black brands. Financier Ron Perelman's MacAndrews & Forbes indirectly owns 64% of the cigar company.
