Your first mistake is using the news from any local paper, television, or radio for anything other than local updates (fires, crime reports, festivals, traffic, weather, etc.). Do you really think that any local news media has access to quality reporters?

That's why there are so many specialty magazines, cable TV shows, and Internet sites. If the local media could fill the niche it would have done so.

I saw the big announcement for the revamp, went to the library to read the new money section and remembered why I don't buy any newspaper. Then I made good use of the paper. I read the comics.
