Read all the literature from Providian on their $100
plus 0% interest for 3 months. Not enough info to
make an informed decision, but couldn't find anything
that said I was commiting to anything, either. Sent
it in.

Must transfer $3000 balance from other cards in
order to get the $100. They told me that by phone--
my information packet has not arrived yet, so don't
know any other details. Would have transferred this
month's bill on my card (had some extra expenses) so
that I wouldn't have to pay it all at once, but they
couldn't make the transfer before my payment was due.

However, if you want to call them, toll-free number
is 1-800-586-2366. Person I just talked with seemed
pleasant enough and even reasonably intelligent. I
will post more on this outfit once the info comes.
