We never buy processed food, we uses coupons, and we avoids brand names.
It appears you are doing the right things.
One suggestion is to stock up when there are sales. My wife will normally buy months worth of laundry detergent when there is a great sale.
Another is to know which stores offer the lowest prices on certain items. Each store will have low prices on some items and high ones on the others. You just have to know which store to buy from. Also don't spend $1.00 in gas to save $0.25 in groceries by driving across town to another store.
