Subject:  Reconverting back from Roth to Regular IRA Date:  8/14/1998  2:43 PM

Sorry to repost this, but I think it is a rather important point for many investors who converted their "equity rich IRAs" to Roth IRAs earlier this year when prices of their equities were much higher than they are today and what they could be should we experience a further fall off in stock prices over the next few months. By reconverting back to a regular IRA for a period of time and then reestablishing a Roth at a much lower "basis" could prove to be a big savings in taxes owed over the next four years. Please someone, TMF Taxes, KATinChicagoland or anyone else who knows the details of the new Roth changes that were just signed into law in July, please respond
