<<That is sound advice, however its hard to turn down an attractive match that both of these companies have. The record keeper of my current employer is T.Rowe Price. Fortunately, their Equity Index 500 fund has done quite well for us. It remains to be seen what this new company has to offer in regards to their 401k. All that we have been told thus far is that both compaines are trying to work out "logistics" of the plan - whatever that means. We have been told that we may rollover into theirs. You gotta love integrating companies!>>

Maybe we do have to love integrating companies, but not because they will match whatever funds we roll into their 401k plans. That's because they won't and can't match those monies. If you're under the impression your new employer will match what you roll from your old plan, disabuse yourself of that notion and eliminate it from your consideration. It just ain't gonna happen.
