FYI: It might be useful to know that airline tickets aren't charged to your credit card until they are actually issued .. of course, the airfare isn't guaranteed until they're issued either. So, if you want to avoid waiting for reimbursement or want to avoid having to wait 30-60 days for a refund to be credited to your card in the event your trip is cancelled, wait to have the ticket issued until it's absolutely necessary (unless, of course, it has to be issued to get a particular fare ie: 30 day advance purchase, etc.)

That was the rub - I needed the 14 day advance fare. I've got a project budget to stay in, and this made a real big difference.
