I'm a little confused about this- Fidelity manages my company's 401k and I have most of my contributions going to what they call the "Spartan US Eauity Index Fund", ticker FUSEX. This is supposed to mirror the S&P 500, as far as I know. Give it a shot, maybe you have access to this fund too.
