If you're filing a U.S. tax return, then my guess is yes provided you meet adjusted gross income requirements for the Roth. BUT -- I don't know for sure because I'm not The Foolish Tax Guru. Try asking TMF Taxes over on the Tax Strategies board. He should be able to answer off the top of his head.
