[[Some eFile forms refer to a ECN number.

"Did you receive a mailing from the IRS inviting you to participate in a new IRS
e-file program?"

Does one have to receive this invitation to participate? I already submitted my
return through Intuit TurboTax, and am trying to complete the 8453-OL form
that you sign and mail in.]]

Sorry, but since I don't e-file any of my clients, I really can't give you any information on how the system works.

Perhaps some other Fool can help you out.
