Anyone have any thoughts about the Q1 results?
Net income up 22+%, which (thanks to the stock repurchase program) translates to an increase in EPS of 33+%. Sounds pretty good. But...
Sales down a bit in dollars, "flat" in unit volume. The increase in net income comes from a drop in COPS, which in turn comes from sourcing more products from outside the United States.
A couple of questions, if anyone has any thoughts....
First, is the company maintaining the quality of the products while the COPS is dropping? Second, how long can they continue to squeeze out EPS increases without more sales?
