Thanks for the reply AnnieO.
Hopefully I can build a balanced portfolio with some quality and diverse stocks. My mutual fund experiences have left lots to be desired. I have found that with my mf's, when the market goes up I make a little less than I could have and when it goes down I loose a little more than I should have.
I am lucky to have a great relationship with my Dad, and I am teaching him as much as I can while doing this because ultimately I think these decisions should be made by him.
