I currently have a $25000 IRA in a mutual fund that I am extremely unhappy with. I plan to do a trustee-to-trustee transfer to Vanguard and purchase their VFINX index fund. I'm also thinking about starting a new ROTH and want to invest in something else. Would an index fund tied to the NASDAQ be good for me? And should I get both of them at Vanguard, or should the NASDAQ fund be with a discount broker? I am 51 and would like to retire in 10-15 years. Thanks everyone! |
