Thanks for the reply. You are correct, there is some duplication. My concept is this would provide a wide exposure, even with the duplications.
It is tempting to just put all my funds in the "QQQ" and accept the diversification, risk and returns it provides.
Or, take the top 7-8 stocks from each of the "QQQ" and S&P 500 indexes, without duplication, and create a portfilio. (Select stocks on the weighting in each index.)
