I've usually kept 10 to 14% of my portfolio in international investments. That includes both my holdings in a diversified
international mutual fund and the portion of other mutual funds invested overseas. Because of the big move in my US
holdings in '99 my international holdings have dropped to 8% even though the world markets have done very well this
year. I'm thinking about rebalancing the portfolio but wonder if the world prospects are as good as the US in 2000.
Any thoughts on this?
Sell off some poor performers and invest in the international.
Direct this years money into international.
