There is a board on QQQ where these things are discussed. There is also a Technology Sector fund board in the Speakers Corner Folder. And don't forget about XLK (also with board), the Technology sector spider.

All of these have been hot performers for the last year or two. It seems likely that performance will continue in '00, but because price earnings ratios are so high, there is risk of a major contraction.

For the aggressive, putting part of your assets into one or more of these is a good risk. The usual recommendation is 20 to 30% of assets. For those willing to take more risk (and far from retirement), more is reasonable. But clearly these are not for the conservative.
