I wish the US will tax stock transections ( real estate and others too) like that in Hong Kong. 0.03% for all transections, buy or sell. The 0.03% can be adjusted up or down so that the result is revenue neutral. There is no capital gain tax and no tax write off for loses. There is no need for IRA's, Roth's, 403b's, 401k's.....
There is no need to keep records for transections. No need for our politicians to debate those matters. Just more time for everyone to play or to be more productive. Environmentally friendly also (less paper).
