A brief comment-I'm an engineer who works closely with salespeople daily, and I would generalize their personalities as being definite 'E's-some moreso than others.
With that said, IMO, based on my close working relationship with them 'E's tend to like 'status symbols'. Expensive cars, big homes, are things they admire-and strive for. Eating out and entertaining is important to them. Saving money and ER is NOT a priority. If asked directly, 'would you like to retire early?' they would reply 'of course' but when the necessary sacrifices are discussed to do so they would recoil. I'm speaking from experience-not theory.
Now, my comments are STRICTLY my opinions WITH strong gross generalizations. But I think they do have more than a grain of truth.
