Last week's article on what age to begin taking Social Security benefits produced a flurry of questions, both on our boards and through personal messages to me. These questions centered on three issues: the impact of earned income on Social Security benefits, drawing benefits on one's work record versus that of a spouse, and the taxation of Social Security. Today we'll take a quick look at all three of those factors to help eliminate any confusion.
