or just misappropriated? Perhaps if one were to check out the LBYM board--old posts, not the new stuff--and made a few adjustments to the standard of living (i.e., priorities), more money would be found for investing...and by the way, the word "poor" has such negative connotations. What is poor, really? Opposite of rich? Then what is rich? Is there a dollar sum affixed to the terms? It's not how much you make, it's what you DO with what you have! Okay, some people bring home more than you, some less, but what difference does it make when the bills are paid, food's in the fridge, and the car runs well? Please--stop bemoaning $$$ or lack of it, and learn to do better with what you have! Not shiny, fancy, and new, but what you've got right now. If it means a trip to the library, so be it--it's free. Start with the consumer reference section: Amy Dacyzyn's Tightwad Gazette books are a good start. Hop on the web--there's plenty of sites on frugal living, thrifty shopping, penny pinching, whatever you want to call it. Get defensive with your money!!!
