<< I am a new Fool as well as a new investor.I am a substitute teacher.I travel approx 25 miles each way to work as well as 25 min. to get there and to get home. Is my milage deductable? Is my time in transit somehow translatable into deductable terms? >>

Sorry, but in the tax world your time has no value, and commuting expenses are not deductible.
